PUBG Mobile India: The Ministry Said It Didn't Allow Any Website/Mobile App/Service To Launch.

PUBG Mobile India

PUBG Mobile India Launch Date:
At a time when millions of fans across the country were waiting for the launching of PUBG Mobile India, the central government finally broke the silence on Thursday and said that the Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology had not given permission for PUBG Mobile India to be launched in the country.

In response to two separate RTI requests, the Ministry confirmed that it did not grant permission to launch any websites/mobile apps/services.

Although one RTI was recently filed by MediaNama, another was filed by GEM Esports. Both RTI applications wanted to know if PUBG Mobile India was granted permission by the Ministry to launch a game in India through Google and Apple App Stores.

The creation comes after the Center banned PUBG and other Chinese games earlier this year, citing a threat to national security.

Following a clear statement from the Centre, the door for PUBG Mobile India is now closed forever from the launch of a mobile game in the region. However, fans don't need to be discouraged, another indigenous mobile game called FAU-G is being created and will soon be released in the region. It is now also clear that PUBG Mobile will not be back in India before March 2021.

Earlier, it was reported that the executives of PUBG Corporation have been running government officials for more than a month for a conference, but they have yet to be named by the government.

Allowing PUBG Mobile India to launch a game would mean that any other company whose app(s) have been banned may also rebrand their app and seek the government's approval for a re-launch.

However neither PUBG Corporation nor Krafton commented on the response of the Ministry to the RTI applications.
